Happy Father’s Day

I have been sitting on these little secrets and about to pop! These dads might have been expecting the latest cologne, the ever so popular tie, or even a macaroni necklace… but what they received this year I hope they were pleasantly surprised. I was thrilled at how well they turned out. Each one perfectly unique; highlighting those precious personalities and the reason he is called dad! This fast-paced, crazy-insane mini session was so worth it. A special thanks to Amy for kicking this whole project off, inspiration, and letters. I had such a fun morning meeting new faces and of course seeing some familiar ones. These little models were totally swoon worthy. The other dads are going to be so jealous of their new office decor. And for more options, because seriously we all had a hard time choosing… check out my facebook album!

Mr. B - I am so proud of you. These are some great shots. I am especially found of the first set.

Glimpses Week 24

We had a really exciting first this week. We took Liam to the movie theatre for the very first time to see Madagascar 3 with his Godparents and best friend Noah. His first taste of buttery popcorn and view of a screen that must have seemed gigantic! The Studio Movie Grill is the perfect place to take your toddler for their very first show as there are cocktails served for mom and a chicken strip dinner for hungry tummies. The boys had a ball and I have to say that this was the funniest of the three in my opinion.

Glimpses Week 23

It is amazing the moments that you find to capture of your daily life that otherwise I might have passed by without the glimpses project with the chic critique forum! It is week 23 and this week Liam took a trip to camp Gigi and Pappa. They have gone golfing, swam in the pool, painted bird houses and photo frames, made pottery from clay (yes, my mom is an artist… talk about growing up in a fun house!), made homemade snow cones, and the list goes on. I want to go to Camp Gigi and Pappa! This photo was my kiss goodbye at the gas station drop off! I know that he had an absolute ball with my parents, and my husband and I went on dates and got to sleep in… BUT i am so ready to scoop up that little boy!!!

Elise (Gigi) - We absolutely had a ball!!! We keep remembering things he said and did!!!!

Glimpses Week 22

I consider myself a deprived child when it comes to sugar. I mean… raisins were candy until I turned the age of 5. And you can judge me all you want to that I allowed my 2 1/2 year old to enter the famous Dylan’s Candy bar… but we had a BLAST! He must have opened every sugary bin. And those dimples were deeper than I have ever seen. It was a total “kid in the candy store” kind of moment… of course until the manager came up to me to inform me that no photographs ware allowed in the store. Are you kidding me lady? I felt like some Oompa Loompa came out singing… “Oompa Loompa do-ba-dee-doo , if you are wise you’ll listen to me. You can not flash photos in here… If you do, trouble is near.” I can promise you that there is nothing that I want to copy in your store… I merely wanted to capture those first glimpses of the pure joy behind Liam’s first trip inside Wonka’s World. It was completely magical. The unwrapping of the giant lollipop outside the doors ended up being all the photograph we needed! And he so deserved it after the week we had!

B3 - trying to convince him that chocolate and ice cream are better, but I am fighting his genetics!

June 4, 2012 - 5:54 pm

Lillian - No judging here – that sounds like a blast!! I hate that sinking feeling when someone says you can’t take pictures somewhere, like you’re doing something naughty. So glad you guys still had fun – love that the lollipop matches his shirt:)
