Hospital Light

Two of my close girlfriends gave birth to two perfect baby boys and I could not be happier for them. Of course I made hospital visits, but as a natural light photographer… hospital light makes me cringe! We had to get pretty creative… but in the end I am not sure what I was so stressed about, because these two gorgeous mommies were beaming with the light of new love and it was all that we ever needed in the room! Love you girls to pieces!

Glimpses Week 26

This past week we took a drive to the Southern part of Oklahoma to the ranch of one of our favorite families and amazing friends, who happen to have a son three months  behind our Liam in age. It was a weekend of many firsts, lasting memories, strengthening friendships, and of course roasting marshmallows under the stars between 3600 acres of pure bliss. I learned to drive a stick, shoot a rifle, and shoot a pistol… while Liam experienced his first boat ride, first water balloon fight, first big bed, and first big catch! He was allowed to be totally boy. To potty in the grass, play naked in the fountain, chase grasshoppers, be face to face with moo cows, and get completely dirty riding freely in the back of a jeep. My little boy was in heaven! He scooped out minnows for baiting his fishing line and with daddy’s help caught his very first fish! It was the perfect weekend.

catch the other glimpses at the chic critique this week!

A man with style…

I got to spend the morning with the sweetest family whose love for each other and their little boy shined so brightly. Mr. J was adorable and even showed me his brand new pearly white coming through. He had quite the love affair with his hats and sunglasses which made my job easy!  Talk about a man with some style. Thank you so much for braving the “forbidden” forest with me. I truly enjoyed getting to know your family.
