Texas Blue

Spring in Texas means the most incredible wildflowers. The bluebonnets came early this season and so we found ourselves chasing those beautiful fields of blue that seem to create blankets for miles. Whether you remember pulling over on the side of the highway or picnics in the park, chances are if you are from Texas, you own one or two or ten photographs in those very fields. It is childhood memories and a sense of home and even though there may have been rain. There may have been wind and grey skies… and there may have been travel… we were amongst the bluebonnets with some of the most precious little Texans that stole my heart! Thanks to all my amazing clients… and there are more wildflower minis sneak peeks to come so stay tuned…

I was interested in getting my three yr old pictures done in the bluebonnets, is it already to late for this?
Thank you

Glimpses Week 15

This week started off with Easter Sunday. We dyed eggs, we ate chocolate bunny ears, and celebrated that Christ has Risen. Even though our daddy was a little under the weather, boy did that Easter bunny deliver this year! A basket full of treasures… and when it was time for the big hunt… Liam couldn’t wait to open each of the eggs stuffed especially with him in mind. This special green, sparkle egg carried two small cars from his favorite movie. The game of seek and find took on a whole new meaning this year and I am pretty certain that the “bunny” had just as much fun hiding the eggs as Liam did finding them! Happy Easter!

marian - Great photo!!!!

How her day began…

On the morning of D’s wedding, she was unbelievably calm. So much planning had gone into this special day and she was hours away from walking down the aisle to the man of her dreams. She was breathtakingly beautiful and I was so honored to be there to witness the magic behind her wedding day preparations. The brother-in-law serenaded us with music while all three amazing women were painted by the oh so talented Lacey. Congratulations to one incredible couple! D, you make one stunning bride.

Glimpses Week 14

I am certain that I will be in trouble for this post when he turns 16, but this past week we were so proud that our little guy went poo poo in the potty for the very first time… and all while doing a little potty reading… In fact, mommy didn’t even know what this photo would actually mean until later… I never dreamed he would actually go! haha! I guess this means we are embarking on a new journey – Potty Training. (I would also like to know why my site keeps adding odd colors to my work… any suggestions?)

check out Chic Critique to see what others are doing this week! Happy Easter…

Glimpses Week 13

This week was moving week for our Uncle Steven… even though he is moving further away… he is still within reach and we are so happy for him! We will miss the pop-ins to play and borrow the vacuum, but are excited for his new adventures! Everyone came out to help. And can you say garage sale now that half of the furniture has now taken up permanent residence in Kate’s garage? Happy moving day!
