Glimpses Week 21

I am late posting this… but better late than never! Last week an old friend came to visit and he was such a trooper. We love our E and I am pretty sure Liam knew he was pretty much family by the end of the trip as he wanted to hold his hand to walk to the carousel! We had such an amazing time catching up and loved our visit!

Peep-eye

Or sometimes pronounced “Pee Pie” must be a Southern thing. Words cannot express how thrilled I was for this little guy’s mom to shout out “Peep-eye” from behind the camera… I knew I liked this family! wink… and even though my husband swears he has never heard it before used in place of Peek-a-boo, I totally heard his mom say it to our Liam… and “Peep-Eye” is what had sweet Mr. A in giggles… I absolutely love this age. I love how they love their mommies so, like they have eyes for no one else. I love that mommies can make them laugh over and over with silly games. Oh Mr. A you stole my heart! I was so excited to get home and pull your images from my camera because you made me smile with your joy! Thanks so much mom for making the drive and grandparents for your amazing help. I really enjoyed meeting each of you and had the best evening!  Mr. A sure did rock some hats and oohhh those pinch able cheeks! I die!

Glimpses Week 20

Opa! This weekend we added a little culture to our life and headed down the way with our neighbors and childhood friend in for a visit to the Greek Festival. Hummus is pretty much a staple in our house, so maybe we are a little Greek… wink! There was food and music and dancing and several carnival games. I thought that there would be no way he would want to ride alone in one of the carnival firetrucks… $9 later, he proved me wrong. He absolutely could have “driven” his firetruck all night.

Glimpses Week 19

For Mother’s Day weekend, we headed for Galveston beach. It was a much needed getaway after weeks of illness in our house. We took Liam to the aquarium and of course his favorites were the seals, sea lions, and the ever so adorable penguins! We love the movie Happy Feet and could watch it again and again. Liam’s little penguin shuffle is a must see. wink! It was so much fun to see them in person and I see many more trips in our future!

Bill - Fun trip with just the 3 of us. I love you.

Turtle Watch

Sometimes I wonder how I get to shoot the most incredibly gorgeous clients! These two siblings were no exception and we had such a wonderful evening chasing bunny rabbits, running through the trees and watching turtle families swim in the pond. I love this family and I am so grateful for their mommy! He is such a little heartbreaker and she… oh Miss G how you twirled!
