Holiday Mini Sessions

The holiday season is near and I could not be more excited about this year’s mini sessions… they are sure to be filled with lots of joy and magical moments of your family to share. This year we will have two options for locations so that we set the perfect stage for your family’s personal style. And you are not going to want to miss the sweet surprise ending tagged on to each session that may or may not include a pajama party, milk and cookies… wink! Each session will receive the royal treatment and will include styling guides and tips, a 30 minute session of your choice location including the extra pajama moment, 10- 15 edited images in a password protected gallery for viewing, 50 custom holiday cards with several options to choose from this year, and 3 digital files of your choice. Happy Father’s Day

I have been sitting on these little secrets and about to pop! These dads might have been expecting the latest cologne, the ever so popular tie, or even a macaroni necklace… but what they received this year I hope they were pleasantly surprised. I was thrilled at how well they turned out. Each one perfectly unique; highlighting those precious personalities and the reason he is called dad! This fast-paced, crazy-insane mini session was so worth it. A special thanks to Amy for kicking this whole project off, inspiration, and letters. I had such a fun morning meeting new faces and of course seeing some familiar ones. These little models were totally swoon worthy. The other dads are going to be so jealous of their new office decor. Father’s Day Mini Session

On your mark… Get set… GO!!!

Father’s Day is right around the corner and if you are like me, I wanted to come up with something really special but was running out of time! Nothing like the last minute to pull a rabbit out of your hat! After an awesome, super secret client session… I decided that this was just too fun not to share! SO… put your engine’s in high gear and your decision caps on! We will be shooting next Saturday, deciding on your three images by midnight Monday, and then I will meet you for an afternoon coffee pickup the Friday before Father’s Day. Talk about quick thinking! WE CAN DO IT!!!

Texas Blue

Spring in Texas means the most incredible wildflowers. The bluebonnets came early this season and so we found ourselves chasing those beautiful fields of blue that seem to create blankets for miles. Whether you remember pulling over on the side of the highway or picnics in the park, chances are if you are from Texas, you own one or two or ten photographs in those very fields. It is childhood memories and a sense of home and even though there may have been rain. There may have been wind and grey skies… and there may have been travel… we were amongst the bluebonnets with some of the most precious little Texans that stole my heart! Thanks to all my amazing clients… and there are more wildflower minis sneak peeks to come so stay tuned…

Mr. Cadbury and his chicks

Here comes Peter Cottontail. Hoppin down the bunny trail. Hippity Hoppity Easter’s on its way!

I have been wanting to do a session with baby chicks and bunnies for a long time. It screams spring and Easter and precious babies! But where on earth do you find baby chicks and bunnies? If you happen to have a very best friend building a chicken coop then it is your lucky day! And it was most certainly mine!

It is difficult enough to get babies and toddlers to look at the camera, but try slouching bunnies and hungry chicks! I have to admit that I was a little worried about my vision coming to life… and being rained on the weekend before was not the best start…but OH MY GOODNESS if I did not have the most gorgeous children and the best animal models!

It was truly one of the best afternoons! Thanks to all the moms and dads for braving the challenge with me! And a special shout out to “chick-chick,” “rocket” (Liam’s name for one of the chicks which is better than the initial pick-pocket) and “Mr. Cadbury” himself!

And I would not have been able to make this happen without the incredible generosity of Sayler and Greg for opening their home, sharing their animals and holding a few props! Thanks for everything!
